Chapter 8: Shadow's Confession

It's been three weeks sense the night of the ball and Shadow has been missing ever since. At first Amy thought that Shadow was just avoiding her until she talked to Silver who hadn’t seen him ether. Amy was starting to get worried about him, or whether he would ever come back after what happened.

For the first week Amy felt like she was on house arrest. Every night she was being watched by the family geared who always made sure the windows were locked at night so she couldn’t get out, and Shadow couldn’t get in. Every day it seemed her father found a new wizard or cleric or something to try and remove the so called spell. She tried to tell her father that there wasn’t a spell but he just would not listen to her. Eventual she just gave up and went along with it. She pretended not to know a thing about Shadow other than him being evil and needed to avoid him. After that her father stopped his little rampage.

It took another week after that for her father to stop pouting the grads around her room.

That night Amy went up onto her rough again hoping with all hop that this would be the night that Shadow would reveal himself to her again. Hours past and still not even a sound but the baying of wolfs in the distance. For five nights in a row, Amy waited all night for him and still nothing… always nothing.

Amy was about to give up when she hears some rustling behind her and knew what it was immediately “Shadow?” Amy said in an existed and happy voice. She was so glad to have Shadow back with her but what came next she did not expect.

“Don’t be so perky with me” Shadow said in a rough and harsh voice “I did not come her to be friendly”

“Y-Y-Your… angry with me… aren’t you?” Amy asked a bit nervously. She did not turn around, she never turned till Shadow said she could or approached her, and it had always been that way sense the first night they had met on the roof.

Shadow growled a little from behind her “What ells do you expect after all that, after what you did.” he said angrily. Amy could hear him growling and could feel how tense and angry he was.

“Shadow I” Amy tried to say but was quickly interrupted.

“NO AMY!” Shadow yelled causing Amy to gasp a little “It is my turn to speck” Shadow said. It was clear to Amy now that Shadow was very angry… and even hurt. “I trusted you Amy, for the first time in 10 years I began to trust someone and then you went and betrayed me”

“But Shadow I” Amy tried to say but was interrupted again.

“NO BUTS” Shadow yelled “You betrayed me. You tricked me into coming there, broke down my defenses and fed me to the wolves. I tried warning you not to remove the mask but you wouldn’t listen. None of that would have happened if YOU WOULD HAVE JUST LISTENED” Shadow said angrily.

Amy started to shake a little, Shadow had never yelled at her like this before and she was starting to get a little scared. “Pleas Shadow… let me explain” Amy said in a desperate voice. She wanted so much to tell Shadow that she didn’t mean for that to happen.

“I’m not finished” Shadow practically hissed. “You contently told me that everything would be alright, that no one would find out. You gave me your word and it was shattered. How am I ever support to trust you again.” Shadow said.

Amy was having a hard time handling this. She knew that everything shadow said was true. She held her hands close to her hart as tears began streaming down her checks. ‘Pleas Shadow… I didn’t mean to hurt you
’ Amy thought to herself wanting so directly to apologies to Shadow who only seamed to get more worked up with everything he said.

“But you don’t even know the worst of it. This worst thing you did…” Shadow said sounding so vary angry, Any other person would have been scared witless, but then he stopped.

Amy gasped and her eyes shot wide open when she felt Shadows hand on her shoulder. He was still standing behind her but somehow his domineer had changed a bit “You… made me forget” Shadow said in a much calmer voice. “Forget everything, forget the hatred and disgust, forget the loonies and isolation. For that one, simple night, I forgot my life and everything that’s happened to me. I felt like I was just like all the other normal, free men that fill this city. For once I truly mattered.” Shadow said in a soft low voice. He pout his other arm wound Amy’s waste poling her a little closer to himself. His emotions had defiantly calmed at this point and Amy could feel his chest fur agents her bare back.

“Shadow?” Amy said softly.

“For the first time in my life I was free. That night was like a dream come true for me. I forgot my place and how the world truly sees me… which is why it hurt so much to be reminded of it” Shadow said as he moved his hand from her shoulder to her waste and pout his head on her shoulder.

“Shadow… but aren’t you?” Amy asked.

Shadow sighed and chuckles a little “No… I’m not mad” Shadow said and takes in a deep breath. “I could never be angry at you for two long” Shadow gently kissed Amy’s neck holding her a little closer. “I know you didn’t mean to. You believed that nothing bad would happen, you just wanted to make it special for me and it worked.”

"Shadow, I'm so sorry you got hurt.” Amy apologized trying very hard not to cry.

“Amy, it’s alright, there is no need for you to apologies, I’m not mad at you” Shadow said and kissed Amy’s neck again as she slowly closed her eyes. “The physical lingerie is long sense healed and if anything I am mad at them, and even myself but not you” Shadow said as he pots a hand on her check turning her to face him.

Amy did not resist as soon there eyes met. “Shadow” Amy whispered.

They both slowly closed their eyes as their lips met in a tender loving kiss.  They kissed one another as if nothing ells mattered, As if they had never been kissed before and they loved it.

They kissed till long after they had ran out of berth before braking it “Shadow… I… I think…” Amy began trying to say before shadow quickly kissed her nose quieting her. She looked back at him as there eye met.

“I understand… there is no need to speck it” Shadow whispered in a soft alluring voice. “This thing between us… douse not require words”

And with that both pairs of eyes closed as Shadow and Amy kissed once again. Buy now the world was nothing more than a distant echo with no more meaning or value. As their lips melded together Amy mooned from the potion and intensity of this kiss. She loved it so much feeling Shadows straight and yet being so genital to her.

Shadow pout his hands around her waste again and poled her even closer deepening this kiss. Amy pout her arms around his neck giving Shadow everything she had. It was the most amazing kiss that ether of them had ever felt before in there lives.

Shadow parts their lips as Amy was left panting for air. He ran his hand thou her hair. “Amy, I need to go now” Shadow said softly.

“But Shadow… Why?” Amy asked not wanting him to leave.

“The sun is starting to rise and I need to get back before it gets to bright out and you need some sleep” Shadow explained and pout another kiss on her nose. “I will be back by night fall… I promise” Shadow said softly.

“Alright… I will be waiting” Amy said.


Shadow smirked and kissed her lips patiently again and in an instant he was goon leaving Amy alone on the roof once again.

Several roof tops away a dark form stood and watched the entire event that had unfolded between Shadow and Amy. “hum” A eerie voice said as Shadow departed laving Amy by herself. He watches her get back into her room and close the window. “Interesting… I must keep an eye on this one”

The Next Morning…

“It is time” A loud booming voice echoed. “It is time…”

Amy quickly opened her eyes to find herself standing in the middle of a field, with long grasses blowing around her.

“It is time… it is time… it is time”

Amy looked up as if trying to find the source of the voice “What is it time for?” She asked in a worried voice.

“It is now time… Time to waken the master of Chaos” Just as those worried were spoken the ground began to shake nocking Amy to the ground. She looks up to see large buildings erupting out of the ground and shouting strait for the sky. Before long the shaking stopped and she realized she was in the middle of the town square.

“Why am I here… what’s going on… Who is the master of Chaos... Why must I do it?” Amy began to ask as she got to her feet.

“Only you can do this. It is time for you to realize your destiny. It is time” The voice said when Amy hears a loud explosion as one of the buildings collapses near here and she hears people screaming.

Amy quickly looks toured the noise as in an inset the entire place around her is transformed into piles of ruble with building burning all around her. It looked like a war zoon as people ran and screamed for their lives. Amy gasped and quickly covered her moth.

“Only you can stop this. YOU… ONLY YOU. You must awaken the master of chaos… Or all will be over…IT IS TIME!!!!”

Amy gets wide eyed as she sees a dark form in the haze and smoke. It turned to look at her and razed its hand. Amy wanted to run but could not, she just stared at this cretcher frozen in fear.
The form swung its arm as a bright light, just like the ones destroying the buildings flew strait at her. Amy’s eyes got wider in complete terror but she could not run.

A loud pounding echoed throw out the room as Amy’s eyes clamped shut and she shot strait up in her bed screaming at the top of her longs.

The door quickly opened as cream came in the room “Miss Amy… Are you alright”

Hearing that voice Amy opened one eye realizing she was in the room once again and that had all been nothing but a dream. Amy tacks a deep breath and slumped back into her bed with relief.


“Another dream miss Amy?” Cream asked closing the door and going over to Amy. “Was it the same one you’re always having?”

“No… This one was different… Way different” Amy said siting up and pouting her lags over the side of the bed. She shacks a little “It was terrifying”

“It sure seemed like it” Cream said then goes over to the dresser and starts getting some cloths out. “You will have time to tell me about it later but for now you will never guess who has come to call for you”
“What are you talking about?” Amy asked calming down and watching cream quickly getting her stuff ready. “Is someone here?”

“Yes someone is here” Cream said and giggles “In fact the someone is non-other than Sonic himself”

Amy blinks a bit confused “Sonic… is here… and wants to see me?” She said vary stunned.

“Yes he is, so we better hurry and get you ready before he gets tiered of waiting” Cream replied

Amy quickly jumped up and started getting cleaned up and ready to go down as see sonic, the man she was betrothed to marry.

About thirty minutes later sonic was still down stars waiting but staring to get frustrated. Finally the doors opened and Amy began to walk down the long stare case “Forgive me for taking so long, I was not expecting your arrival and was not decent” Amy said in a vary polite and formal way as a lady of class should behave.  

“That’s because I wanted to surprise you” Sonic said as Amy got to the bottom of the stars. “How would you like to go toe the mid summers eve festival with me” Sonic asked.

Amy blinks confusedly “But there is no such festival in town.” Amy replied

“Yes, But the mid summers eve festival is taking place tonight in Lamier” Sonic said emphasizing the word Lamier.

Amy gasped “Lamier… You mean the capital city Lamier?”

“Yes the very same Lamier” Sonic replied

“I have always wanted to go see Lamier” Amy said giggling

“Yes I know. So will you go with me” Sonic asked

Amy giggles “Of cores I will go with you, If will be my plusher”

Sonic nodes “Alright then shall we be on out way” Sonic said pouting his arm out for Amy

She giggles and tacks his arms “Yes we shall, thank you” She said

Later that evening it was now dark as Sonic and Amy where walking throw the festival with their arms linked together. It had been a very wonderful day filled with fun, games, great shows and Sonic even danced with Amy. Amy could not have imagined a better day.

“Oh Sonic… Thank you so much” Amy said resting her head on Sonics shoulder. The pare sate on a bench and Amy tacks a deep contended breath “This… Is everything I have ever dreamed of” She said happily. “But… If I may ask, why the sudden change? Why all the attention?”

Sonic chuckled “Well… You grew up so much lately that it makes it easier to be around you” Sonic said.

Amy giggled “Oh so you just like me when I’m encoring you, is that it?” Amy said giggling and lens into his shoulder a little more.

“No that’s not it… I just… needed to have time space to think things over” Sonic said

Amy picked her head off his shoulder and looks at him “Think over what things?”

Sonic sighed and looked over at her pouting a hand on Amy’s check. “I needed time to think… To make the decision for myself”

“And what did you come up with” Amy asked.

“Amy… I love you” Sonic said, lend in close to Amy and for the first time kissed her lips deeply.
